What is a silo compressor?

These product groups, which are loaded by silobas, are discharged externally through a compressor working in conjunction with the silobas. These compressors operate at low pressure and high flow rates.

What is an oil-free silo compressor?

In piston-type silo compressors, complete sealing cannot be achieved. Therefore, even if there is no liquid oil with compressed air, oil vapor cannot be prevented. Oil vapor in piston-type silo compressors is not a defect. However, liquid oil leakage that rapidly depletes the machine's oil is a defect. Especially in the food industry, even oil vapor is undesirable as it can mix with the transported material, which is why oil-free compressed air compressors have been developed.

Diesel silo compressor or electric silo compressor?

If there are frequent electricity supply issues in your area, choosing a diesel compressor would be more efficient. In fact, constant voltage fluctuations can cause frequent electrical malfunctions, so in countries where diesel fuel is cheap, choosing a diesel compressor is also more reasonable. Apart from this, both provide the same air efficiency.

Three-head compressor or two-head compressor?

Compressors with 3 x 160 mm pistons provide less air compared to 2 x 220 mm pistons due to their shorter stroke length. Naturally, this results in a longer discharge time. However, 2 x 220 mm piston compressors are heavier, which means they carry less material in terms of tonnage. Our recommendation is, if time is important in your transportation tasks, go for 2 x 220 mm; if the amount of material being transported is more important, choose 3 x 160 mm. If you have extra-large silobas outside the standard, keep in mind that 3 x 160 mm will provide less air, resulting in a longer discharge time, causing the machine to run for a longer period, which will shorten the machine's lifespan.

How is silo compressor maintenance done?

Silo compressors have regular maintenance and major maintenance intervals. In routine maintenance, filter cleaning and checking of connection components are done. During major maintenance, the entire machine oil is drained and replaced with new oil. The machine's valve / flap, filter, cylinder, piston, and safety components are checked, and necessary parts are replaced. G160-3 SERIE COMPRESSOR

G160 Serie Dry Bulk Silo and Liquid Tanker compressor has 3 pistons with a diameter of 160 mm and a capacity of approximately 7200 lt/min. Since its stroke length is shorter than our G220 Serie, although it has 3 pistons, its capacity is lower than G220 Serie. However, this model has a good weight advantage with its minimal and ergonomic structure. It is an efficient option for companies that care about tonnage limits rather than time in transportation. Due to its lightness, it allows you to carry more cement, flour, sand, etc. materials in places with tonnage limits.
